Chinese oil demand grows

CHINESE thirst for oil grew 4.1% in June from the previous year, registering 11.25 million barrels per day, according to Chinese government data.

However, Platts reports demand for petrol and LPG slowed while gasoil and jet fuel/kerosene contracted, the latter being a measure of key drivers of Chinese oil demand growth.
