In a release to the market this morning, it said that key pieces of equipment had arrived at Keera in Indonesia and had been offloaded onto site.

The equipment includes components for both the LNG terminal and the power plant.

On the LNG front, the first shipment of major equipment, including two cold boxes, has reached the site.

However, other major equipment which was expected to have arrived on site by now has been delayed by "measures beyond the company's control".

The major components are being transported on the MV Fairload, with EWC telling the market this morning that the vessel had been held up at Port Hedland on its way to the site. However, EWC said it should take delivery of the components within the next fortnight.

Meanwhile it said the Senkang power plant expansion should be completed in 2013.

A new Siemens gas turbine together with generator, gearbox, transformer and related equipment has now cleared customs and is on its way to the site.

It said the gas turbine should be online by the end of this year.

Meanwhile, a new Alstom steam turbine and heat recovery package is being manufactured and should be commissioned and operational by early 2013.
