THE Australia Awards  (PNG Alumini) invites potential candidates to attend an information session about the project on August 9 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Port Moresby. Australia Awards alumini recipients study in a range of areas that includes business, health, education, law, information technology and environmental science. "They return with vast skills and knowledge, ready to contribute to organisations and the development of PNG," the organisation said. THE Pasin Tumbuna Festival , Day of our Ancestors, takes place at the Port Moresby Nature Park on Sunday, August 19 from 9am to 3pm. There will be traditional craft-making, traditional cooking, food tasting, traditional instrument making, bilas making, carving demonstrations, activities for children as well as food and drinks. RETAILER CPL Group and the Young Port Moresby Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be holding a networking event on Thursday, August 9.It will take place from 6pm to 9pm at the New Hardware Hause (Old SNS Central Waigani) and booking should be made through frontdesk@pomcci.com.  It is a free event for POMCCI members, K30 for non-members adn K50 for a new membership fee.
