PAPUA New Guinea's Business Coalition for Women has announced that it is about to stage its ninth round of the Certificate 4 in leadership and management course from September 3 to 8. The BCW says the course is designed for emerging talented women currently working as managers, or about to enter managerial roles. There are no prerequisites for entry and the course will involve 16 face to face training days over six months - with take home assignments and community-workplace projects. BCW says that the course is Australian accredited and is a stepping stone to the Diploma in Leadership and Management.
JACOB Ilave, along with the Bangu band, Karly Regione and Buruka Tau and family will be the entertainers at the RSPCA's Le Jazz Hot fundraiser on September 1. The RSPCA PNG says that it will be "a fabulous evening of great French food, wonderful wines and amazing jazz". All proceeds go to the RSPCA's education program. It take place at the Airways Hotel Poolside from 7pm to 11pm and there are just 140 tickets available.
