Chetan Chopra, former chief financial officer of PNG's largest super provider Nambawan Super, has been appointed as CFO. Chopra has previously been PNG partner of KPMG and senior employee at the Australian Taxation Office.
Danny Robinson has been appointed executive general manager of banking. Robinson is fresh off 20 years with Suncorp Metway.
Former general manager for Kina Finance Michael Van Dorssen moves to role of chief risk officer.
"These people bring a depth of international banking experience to our company, as well as great enthusiasm and drive to ensure that Kina achieves its ambitious goals over the coming years," CEO Syd Yates said.
Kina's annual results are due end of February with profits slated to exceed financial year forecasts.
"Notwithstanding some slowing in the PNG economy due to depressed commodity prices, underlying demands and activity in Kina's target market remains resilient," Yates said.
"The market response since our public listing has been most encouraging, and we remain confident that our strategy and business model provide shareholders with ample opportunity for growth and increasing returns over time."
