Organisers say it is the premier annual gathering of the ASEAN energy sector and "AEBF 2019 provides a unique platform for ASEAN policy makers and global private sector organisations to engage in public-private partnership cooperation discussions and project development business collaboration meetings".
AEBF 2019 will host energy ministers, government officials and heads of national power authorities from all 10 ASEAN member states and beyond.
"Attendees will hear the latest regional energy investment opportunities and gain first-hand insights into the policy initiatives and regulatory environments that will guide future energy developments across the region," partner Oxford Business Group said.
In an effort to move ASEAN to a lower-carbon future, governments have been invited to showcase their national energy framework aspirations and how they expect business to contribute towards the realisation of these goals.
"The forum will therefore serve as the perfect environment to foster in-country investment missions, bi-lateral meetings between project owners, institutional investors and integrated energy solutions experts," the OBG said
These activities will play an important role in how the ASEAN network source innovation across the energy system to invest in capital energy projects that transition into a clean energy future.
