Landowner bosses defend Kaupa payout

THE chairmen of PNG landowner companies managed by government-controlled Minerals Resource Development Company have defended a payment of 1.5 million kina ($US504,371) to its chief executive Francis Kaupa, who is retiring to contest in the upcoming elections.
