FOLLOWING an early parliamentary recall that passed constitutional amendments relating to the US11 billion (K28.01 billion) PNG LNG project last week, Hela landowners from Southern Highlands Province are pursuing legal action through the National Court.
The Hela region is known for tribal warfare and contains Oil Search source fields of PNG LNG, including the massive Hides gas field, which has more than 5 trillion cubic feet.
