PNGSDP must accept transparency: Pala

PAPUA NEW GUINEA’S Attorney General Ano Pala has welcomed the decision by the International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes to reject claims made by the PNG Sustainable Development Program (PNGSDP) to remove government oversight of the program.

He called on PNGSDP chairman Mereke Morauta to abide by the decision and said the money set aside for the people of Western Province should not be used to fund operational and legal costs.
