Lowy says opening remarks at this special evening will be made by Barr, who is the executive director of the institute.
 
"The Australian government has invited a small delegation of emerging leaders from Papua New Guinea's public sector to visit Australia under the Canberra Fellowships Program.
 
"The evening will be an opportunity to meet members of the delegation, who are representatives from the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Department of Prime Minister and National Executive Council, the Department of Defence, the National ICT Authority, Kumul Consolidated Holdings, the National Trade Office, and the Department of National Planning and Monitoring," the Lowy Institute said in a media release.
 
The Monday, March 27 event begins at 5pm and ends at 6.30pm. It takes place at the offices of the Lowy Institute at 31 Bligh Street, Sydney. Drinks and light food will be provided at the free event.
