On World Health Day 2019, which takes place on April 5, the World Health Organisation is urging leaders to invest in primary health care as the smartest first step towards universal health coverage, also known as ‘health for all'.
 
"At the World Health Day event for the Western Pacific Region, experts will share insights on how primary health care can address health challenges in our region today and tomorrow," WHO said.
 
This will take place on Friday, April 5, from 9.30am at the WHO Regional Office for the Western Pacific, United Nations Avenue, corner Taft Avenue, Ermita, Metro Manila. The speakers will be Dr Takeshi Kasai, the WHO regional director for the Western Pacific and Dr Gundo Weiler, the WHO representative to the Philippines
