The Angau board said the appointment followed an extensive recruitment process, adding that Muddle had extensive experience in health care administration throughout Asia and the Pacific.
This included time CEO of Port Moresby General Hospital and more recently as CEO of a hospital in the Maldives.
The Angau board says that Muddle's focus at Angau will be to continue leadership with the hospital redevelopment program and improvements in clinical governance and patient outcomes.
