This World Environment Day initiative is being supported in Lae by the Wafi-Golpu Joint Venture in partnership with Lae City Authority, and a beach clean-up along the city's coastline towards Wagang (Sipaia) Beach is the main target area.
It takes place between 7am and 12 noon and the locations are Aigris Market, DCA Esplanade and Voco Point, Wagang.
Gloves and garbage bags will be provided and refreshments will be available at the end of the clean-up.
