This is the word from Prime Minister James Marape who said that the organisation had accumulated problems which had made it sick.
The restructure would include the installation of a full board for the electricity provider.
Marape was responding to questions in parliament from Abau MP Puka Tema. He added that PNG Power and other state-owned enterprises - Water PNG, Telikom and Air Niugini - needed to be recapitalised.
