The Embassy said a consular official would be at Jill's Café in downtown Port Vila on that day and doors would be open between 10am and 12 noon. Appointments are essential.
"The consular section may not have anyone come to Vanuatu for the next six months, so if you need your passport renewed, or any other service requiring a consular officer, please apply for an appointment now," the US Embassy said.
The consular officer will be available to provide basic consular services such as accepting consular reports of birth abroad applications, US passport applications and social security applications.
