Indonesian boats apprehended

TWO Indonesian fishing vessels have been apprehended in the Timor Sea by Australian officials.

The boats were about 100 nautical miles east of Ashmore Islands. Officials said the boats, crewed by 13, had 100kg of fresh reef fish and 50kg of partially frozen reef fish aboard.
 
The vessels and crew were taken to Darwin for further investigation.
