The event is a collaborative effort between the American Chamber of Commerce in Australia, the US Department of Commerce and the US Embassy Port Moresby. It is being facilitated by the Port Moresby and Lae Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

 

The talks in Port Moresby on August 8 will take place from 7am at the Royal Papua Yacht Club and bookings are through Idau Arua at 72 000 000 (extension 0678) or email  frontdesk@pomcci.com

 

The Lae function, on August 9, will take place at the Lae Yacht Club from 7am and reservations should be made by emailing admin@lcci.org.pg

 

The speakers are Catherine Ebert-Gray, ambassador to Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu; April Palmerlee CEO of the American Chamber of Commerce in Australia; and James Sullivan, deputy assistant secretary for services, US Commerce Department.

 

Port Moresby's US Embassy is currently hosting US entities General Electric, Johnson and Johnson, Jacobs, ConocoPhillips, Laureate University, 3M and Quanta Services on a familiarisation trip in PNG in partnership with the American Chamber of Commerce and the US Department of Commerce.
