Indonesia's official defence, aerospace, helicopter and maritime security event is an annual fixture where more than 68 countries are this year exhibiting their military equipment including the latest developments in defence technology.
 
The Indo Defence Expo is also a platform for holding bilateral talks on defence cooperation between countries, Radio New Zealand International reports.
 
FBC news reports Kubuabola was due to meet Indonesia's Defence Minister, General Ryamizard Ryacudu, last week to reaffirm and advance defence ties between the two countries.
 
Fiji's Minister is accompanied by the Peacekeeping Unit Director, Lieutenant Colonel Pacolo Luveni and senior officials from Fiji's Ministry of Defence and National Security.
