Papua New Guinea Police Commissioner David Manning told The National newspaper that security preparations were under way for the planned visits of the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the US President Joe Biden.
Modi will be in the country for a two-day visit for the Forum for the India-Pacific Islands Cooperation, while Biden will be making a three-hour stop-over enroute to Australia for the Quad Leaders' Meeting.
Manning said there would also be 18 Pacific Island leaders in Port Moresby.
