Chatree aims to be debt free

KINGSGATE Consolidated has said that it expects Chatree gold mine debt will be fully repaid before the end of this month.

This follows another "strong performance" during November for the project in central Thailand, during which the company said produced 18,697 ounces of gold, poured 18,399oz and sold 17,115oz.
 
Discretionary payments against the Chatree loan facility of $US10.2 million were made in December.
 
"Following these repayments Kingsgate's Group total debt position will be $A13 million, down from $A72 million at September 30. As previously stated, Kingsgate reasonably expects that Chatree related debt will be fully repaid before December 31.
