They are mining all-rounder Scott Sullivan, who has been appointed chief technical and projects officer for the company's Asia-Pacific region; and engineer Peter Sharpe, who has been appointed chief operating officer for Asia-Pacific.
Sharpe has more than 25 years in mining in Australia, Papua New Guinea, North America and South America. Before joining OceanaGold, he spent most of his career working for Newcrest, South 32 and BHP.
Sullivan has 30 years in the industry in Australia, PNG, Africa and North America, with most of his work in strategic planning, smelters, project development and government relations. He has worked for Newcrest, Paladin Energy and Minbos Resources.
