Temu is a respected executive in Papua New Guinea's business and resources sectors, previously holding roles at Kina Securities, Barrick Niugini, Placer Dome, the Mineral Resources Development Company, Bank South Pacific and many others.
He was chairman of PNG Ports Corporation for five years, chairman of BSP Capital for three years and a past president of the Chamber of Mines and Petroleum.
He was a council member of the Divine Word University.
He has a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Papua New Guinea, a Masters in Agricultural Development Economics from the Australia National University, Canberra, and a doctorate in Agricultural Economics from the University of California in the US.
