INDONESIAN state-owned company PT Pertamina has taken on an LNG sale-and-purchase agreement with Corpus Christi Liquefaction in a deal that will see Indonesia import LNG from the international market for the first time.

Under the deal Pertamina will buy 0.8 million tonnes of LNG per year from the Corpus Christi liquefaction project in Texas for a period of 20 years.
