Newcrest Mining, which owns these gold mines in Papua New Guinea and Australia respectively, said Jetson had driven improvements in operational performance and forged effective working relationships with local communities and governments.
Newcrest said that Craig Jones, currently executive general manager at Cadia, would become executive general manager of the Wafi-Golpu copper-gold project in PNG.
Phil Stephenson will become executive general manager for Gosowong (Indonesia), Telfer (Australia) and Bonikro (Ivory Coast). He was previously executive general manager for Gosowong and Telfer.
