The company said mapping had defined potential for field extensions at Bunian and two highly deliverable development wells at the Bunian and Tangai fields: Bunian-5 and Tangai-5.

The Indonesian-based team has identified development and optimisation opportunities capable of adding up to 350 bopd (100% JV) in production from Tangai-1 and Bunian-4.

The well could add 500-1000bopd each, and may be drilled next year.

A further review of the area with the University of Padjadjaran could help mature the Bunian South West prospect for the 2018 drilling program.

The review is set to cover the entire Tangai-Sukananti KSO.

The field continues to perform strongly with production averaging a gross 590bopd (net 325bopd) despite downtime associated with road repairs and bottom hole surveys in the Bunian-3 well.
