Despite the power challenges faced by Lae city and Morobe, the province of which it is capital, a meeting with PNG Power officials, to be held today from 12 noon, will all be about finding solutions to the problems, not fighting about them.
The information session with the chief operating officer of PNG Power, Alastair Andrews, and regional manager Albert Nanako will take place in the Bulolo Room at the Lae International Hotel.
The session is expected to last an hour, is free of charge, and will be accompanied by a light lunch of sandwiches and fruit.
The event has been coordinated by the Lae Chamber of Commerce and Industry which says: "Alistair [Andrews] has warmly welcomed this meeting and will learn from it while we learn what the new structure of PNG Power management is doing to address our concerns.
The invitation is signed by LCCI president John Byrne, and confirmation of attendance must be through Ensie Rennie, admin@LCCI.org.pg
