A GROUP of landholders are allegedly threatening to shut down operations at Highlands Pacifics recently commissioned Kainantu gold mine in PNG if they are not granted an audience with the Lands Title Commission to determine the rightful landholders.
According to a report in the Post-Courier, Kafe clan chairman Michael Aike issued the threats, claiming land ownership of the mine has not yet been established.
