Warren has over 35 years experience with the Shell Group of companies and recently retired as chairman of Shell in Australia and the Pacific Islands.

Prior to his role as chairman with Shell (2002-06), he held the positions of business director for Asia-Pacific and Australasia (2001-02), director of exploration and production research and technical services (1995-2001). Warren was also previously a director with Woodside Energy.

Aopi, currently executive general manager, government and public affairs for Oil Search, has been elevated to the position of executive director.

Oil Search described Aopi as possessing substantial public service and business experience in PNG. He has held numerous roles within the PNG Government including Secretary for Finance and Planning and was also managing director of Telikom PNG.

Aopi is currently chairman of Telikom PNG and also a director of both Steamships Trading and Bank of South Pacific.
