Worker air-lifted to Townsville following Tolukuma accident

A MINER who was hurt following a serious accident at Emperor Mines Tolukuma operation in PNG at the weekend had to be air-lifted to Townsville, while another miner hurt in the same incident was taken to Port Moresby.

An Emperor Mines spokesman told PNGIndustryNews.net the accident, involving a loader and the two miners, occurred underground.
