More seafloor for Nautilus

DEEPSEA mining pioneer Nautilus Minerals will possess what it claims to be one of the biggest ground holdings ever undertaken by a mining company if applications over a further 108,295 square kilometres of Bismarck Sea acreage off the PNG coast are granted.

The new applications cover a belt 800km long and up to 500km across, which when combined with existing tenements and previously lodged applications, take the company’s total holding to 122,309sq.
