NEW GUINEA Energy is preparing to start a minimum 80-kilometre seismic survey over its 100km trend of oil seeps in PPL 267, in PNG’s Western Province, to define a well location of the Panakawa prospect for spudding in mid-2009.
The prospect is close to the Panakawa oil seep which is flowing at a rate of five barrels per day.
