Targeting a footwall prospect underneath the producing Hedinia oilfield, the company aims to emulate the success of the ADT ST3 oil discovery made under the Agogo oil field in late 2009.
Hedinia 10 is expected to take 40 days to drill, and the total planned depth is 3000m.
The participants of Hedinia 10 are Oil Search (60.05%), Merlin Petroleum, Ampolex/PNG Petroleum, Petroleum Resources Kutubu and Merlin Pacific Oil.
