PNG LNG, Sinopec wrap up LNG deal

THE PNG LNG project partners have reached an important milestone today after finalising a binding sales and purchase agreement with Unipec Asia, a Sinopec subsidiary, for the long-term sale and purchase of 2 million tonnes per annum of liquefied natural gas.

Under the deal, the PNG LNG project will supply LNG to Sinopec's LNG terminal in Qingdao, Shandong Province, for a period of 20 years.
