NEW GUINEA Gold has encountered more unoxidised sulphide mineralisation at the 92%-owned Sinivit gold mine in PNG as it plans to release results from 242 holes of a reverse circulation drilling program covering 11km and 403 holes in early July.

The strongest result was from a 20m intersection, 8m from the surface, which yielded 25.7 grams per tonne gold and 2.19% copper.

This intersection also included 2m at 158gpt gold and 4.32% copper.
