The phase 2 program will drill about 10,000m in total, using funds from the company's recent $3.6 million placement.

A second rig capable of drilling 1000m depth has been mobilised and the two camps at Nevera are being expanded to handle the increased workload anticipated for the rest of the year.

The company is also hiring additional geologists, experienced field assistants and camp managers as the drilling campaign ramps up.

During the first phase of drilling, the company drilled six holes for a total of 2,628m.

Its second drillhole at Nevera intersected a section of 215 metres at 1.46 grams per tonne gold from 181m including 26m at 4.6gpt gold from 217m and 46m at 2.42gpt gold from 272m.

The results complemented the first drillhole at Crater Mountain, which intersected 286m at 0.82gpt gold from 22m and included 16m at 1.92gpt gold, 4m at 2.1gpt gold, 4m at 2gpt gold, 19m at 3.37gpt gold, and 44m at 1.52gpt gold within 82m at 1.62gpt gold.

Full assay results from phase one drilling are expected within the next month.
