AusAID lends hand in HIV battle

AusAID has signed a 50 million kina ($US17 million) subsidiary agreement with the PNG Government to improve access to HIV and sexually transmitted infection related health services in rural communities.

Magaret Thomas, who heads AusAID in PNG, said the five-year program would address the "sexual health needs of Papua New Guineans".
