KAMEA-language speaking people in the Gulf province of PNG have been encouraged to consider alluvial gold mining by Kamea Land Resources Association chairman Sam Wenive, according to The National newspaper in PNG.
Wenive said with the price of gold averaging $US622 (K1943) an ounce, locals should get serious about alluvial gold mining.
