EMPEROR Mines has continued its horror run in 2006, announcing today it has stopped production at its Tolukuma gold mine in Papua New Guinea as of last Saturday, November 25, because of serious damage to part of the mines SAG mill.
The mill will remain in shutdown until the reason for the damage is identified and damage can be repaired, which may take up to three weeks.
