The standout find started from a depth of 194m.

Results from separate holes included a 4.75m intersection grading 4.46gpt gold from a 149m depth and a 3m intersection grading 3.61gpt gold from 60m down the hole.

The Toronto-listed explorer has drilled 45 diamond coreholes since January and assay results are pending from 52 holes.

Further drilling is planned with a rig being mobilised to test epithermal targets in exploration licence 1069.

Both this licence and PNG Gold's EL 1091 on the island were recently renewed for two years.
