Supply constraints will not mar PNG’s coming boom time

PAPUA New Guinea is anticipating its best economic growth in a decade in 2007 but the country is just not prepared for the near boom time conditions of the coming decade. By Brian Gomez

The biggest constraint will be manpower, particularly skilled labour, because the capacity to carry out maintenance and rehabilitation work has been badly damaged by the decline of the 1990s.
