Govt set to change resources laws

NEXT week Papua New Guinea’s Parliament convenes in Waigani. If all goes as planned, major constitutional changes are expected with regards to the management of the country’s mining and petroleum resources.

Earlier this year, the government published the constitutional amendments related to the ownership and exploitation of PNG's hydrocarbons and minerals in the National Gazette.
