PNG LNG optimisation

THE ExxonMobil-led PNG LNG project, which originally targeted 6.6 million tonnes per annum before upping this to 6.9mtpa during development in 2012, recently hit a rate of 7.1mtpa with further capacity potentially set to be unlocked.

In a report on PNG LNG partner Oil Search, Macquarie Wealth Management said de-bottlenecking remained a priority at the Papua New Guinean LNG operation.
