Arun and Elk-Antelope similar

THERE are similarities between Papua New Guinea’s Elk‐Antelope complex and Arun, the massive Indonesian carbonate field discovered in 1971 and supported six trains over decades, according to InterOil senior vice president of development and drilling David Kirk.

Arun started production in 1978 and "put Indonesia" on the map, Kirk says.

The 30-year veteran of developing mega LNG projects with Bechtel, Kirk hopes Antelope may do the same for Papua New Guinea.
