ADDRESSING THE NATIONAL PRESS CLUB in Canberra yesterday during his time at the Australia-PNG Ministerial Forum, PNG Prime Minister Peter O’Neill spoke to the statistics on family and sexual violence raised by Medecins sans Frontieres’ damning report, released earlier this week.

The report stated that there were endemic levels of sexual abuse and family violence in PNG society, with children under 15 at 56 percent of those presenting as survivors of sexual violence.
