During August the well, which was spudded in June, was side tracked twice due to two stuck pipe events.
The first was in the Strickland 1 well bore and the second in Strickland 1 ST1.
At the end of the month Strickland 1 ST2 was redrilling the Ieru formation in a 12.25 inch hole and preparing to run 9 and 5/8 inch intermediate casing.
The well, in the PNG Highlands to the west of the Juha gas field, is targeting an early cretaceous Toro sandstone reservoir within the seismically defined Strickland prospect.
