Talks on green opportunities

THE Climate Change and Development Authority (CCDA) and Global Green Growth Institute are hosting a half-day interactive session at which delegates will be updated on Papua New Guinea’s climate change status and to engage on potential private sector opportunities.

This will take place at the Lamana Hotel on March 18 from 9.30am to 12.30pm and will be followed by lunch.
 
CCDA says the agenda will include:
 
• An update from CCDA on PNG's current climate change related activities and action.
 
• An introduction to the Green Climate Fund Readiness Project.
 
• An update on PNG's GCF country program preparation.
 
• A discussion on opportunities for private sector and potential to increase engagement.
 
The forum is being organised with the support of the Port Moresby Chamber of Commerce, and Business Council of PNG.
